The Displays
DESCRIPTION:
There are Three different displays:
The BAR display: shows 0dB to –20 dB in 1 dB steps.
The NUMERIC display: is meant to show volume from 0 (fully muted) to 1000 (no attenuation).
The GAS GAUGE display: is a 17-segment display that will “flash” if the display is set for over range.
If multiple displays are used at one station, it is easy to discern which audio is being controlled using the pilot LED (in various colors) for each display that corresponds to the PEDAL guide light.
Please Note:
In theory, a Y cable can be utilized to have 3 displays on one system. Care must be taken that all connections are discrete and pin to pin. Re-calibration of the displays may be required. All other internal calibrations are sensitive and require an accurate multimeter and must follow an exact procedure. Contact Czech Electric for the procedure.
